  Announcing the winners for 2015 Blue Planet Prize
  
  

  Today, we issued a press release announcing the winners of the 24th Blue Planet Prize.

  The winners are
  
  ■Professor Sir Partha Dasgupta FBA FRS (UK)

  Frank Ramsey Professor Emeritus of Economics, Faculty of Economics, University of Cambridge
  

  
  ■ Professor Jeffrey D. Sachs (USA)

  Director, The Earth Institute, Columbia University
  

  
  The commemorative lectures by the winners will be held at the United Nations University (Shibuya Ward, Tokyo) on October 15 (Thrusday). Details will be posted on our website at a later date.
